MEL CARTER

Mel Carter’s silky-smooth voice and relaxed style made “Hold Me, Kiss Me, Thrill Me” a million-selling Top 10 single in 1965. Alongside that Gold Disc winner, plus many Top 40 hits, the Cincinnati native (b. 1939) demonstrated his versatility as a TV and film actor in the 1970s and 1980s.
