THE DEELE

The Deele’s single, “Body Talk” reached #3 on the R&B chart and its success foreshadowed the hit song, “Two Occasions.” Cincinnati-born drummer Antonio “L.A.” Reid and vocalists, Kevin “Kayo” Robinson, Darnell “Dee” Bristol, Stanley “Stick” Burke, and Carlos “Satin” Greene founded the R&B band in 1981. Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds later joined the band.
